Dulang Rattan Bowl, Whitewash

This is a handmade Dulang standing bowl. Dulang means food container or tray and it is used for carrying fruit or cakes to Balinese religious ceremonies and temples. Made from hand woven dried bamboo leaves and painted with a white wash finish. It makes a lovely rustic and natural kitchen item that can be used to display fruit or dry food products.
