Narnia Day 2009, "Keeping the Flame Lit". Paying tribute to the vision of author C.S. Lewis and the children of all ages that keep the dream alive....

Narnia Day, celebrated March 21st, is a joint effort of Narnia Fans, Narniaweb, The Lion's Call and Byron on Wells. Why March 21st? Because it is the only day of the year that always falls between March 20th and March 22nd. That, and it is the First Day of Spring this year....

For this first go at it (and we intend it to become an annual event!) there aren't many organized activities yet (Send me your links if you have online resources). But don't let that stop you. Read the books, watch the films, or ponder the artwork and the music inspired by the stories. Tell your friends what lurks beyond the wardrobe door. And if you feel that the stories have enriched you in a deeper way than mere entertainment, take a moment to give thanks.
