Narniahome.com is dedicated to author and theologian C. S. Lewis and to his wonderful creation, the Land of Narnia. All the materials on this site reflect his sense of values, spiritual ideals and ideas of justice, and they are intended to heighten the visitor's joyful experience of The Chronicles of Narnia. While many basic ideas, characters and places are his work, Narniahome.com is primarily the work of a few dedicated individuals:
John Burkitt (r) - Author of Byron on Wells, Heart of Ice, The Journey and The Casket of Baktar. Co-Author of Swept Away.
John owes a great debt to the Chronicles of Narnia which helped him through many a difficult time in his life, and he created this site to partially repay that debt by serving the community of Narnia fans. He also serves as a co-admin on The Dancing Lawn, the largest Narnia forum on the internet, and directing the podcast "NarniaFansCast".
John is an outdoorsman, scout leader and animal welfare advocate. Many situations and characters in his stories are based on personal experience. You may contact John at bramble@narniahome.com.
Joseph Ravitts (l) - Author of Southward the Tigers. Twice touched by tragedy yet optimistic and faithful, he was the perfect co-author for Swept Away. He is a proud veteran of the U. S. Navy where he served on a nuclear submarine. You may contact Joseph at copperfox@narniahome.com.
Lynne Riday (r) - Inspiration of the character "Linden Foxworth" in Byron on Wells, but also in the greater sense an integral part of the heart and soul of the world that lives in John's head. You see, she loves him and he loves her, and as Mountebank Beaverlee might say, "Love is very important."
Lynne handles publicity for NarniaHome and keeps the rest of us honest...a full-time job. A veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, she is a classical musician and administrative assistant extraordinare. You may contact Lynne at sosweet@narniahome.com.
Roger Thomas (l)- Author of The Perfect Storm, the only Byron on Wells story not written by John Burkitt, Roger is another co-admin on The Dancing Lawn. Roger has been a frequent panelist and voice talent on NarniaFansCast. A professional consultant and educator, Roger is active in a number of social causes. He is a proud veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard and father of four. He is also author of "The Last Ugly Person" published by Ignatius Press. You may contact Roger at prince@narniahome.com.
